Only Skin Deep, by Kimberly Ann Rinesmith

One Valentine’s Day, there were two lovers who met online. They shared similar interests; however, their horoscopes said that they were not the “perfect” match for one another. These lovers decided to put their horoscopes aside and focus on what they had in common. Since today was Valentine’s Day, they wanted to go public with their love and decided today was the day they were going to finally meet in person.

As they were getting ready, she put on a ton of make-up while he was dancing around his house because he had lost his front tooth. This happened from accidently hitting his face on the coffee table.

It was time for them to finally meet at the local Red Robin. He was missing a tooth and she was wearing a ton of make-up. After talking for hours, they decided that what they had in common was more important than their appearances. When to come to love, what is more important is what’s deeper than appearances.

  1. Well put, Kimberly. Looks eventually fade, anyway, so partners had better have plenty to talk about.
